The heritage city was a great escape! I managed to rest and relax, went to various fantastic places and the most important part, I have many ideas to create more paintings now! The art galleries are phenomenal!! The paintings are inspiring. There is one artist, my favourite, Tham Siew Inn! Now I am all motivated to paint. Completed my peacock already! now moving on to the eighth piece!

Retreat
So currently, I am taking some time off, writing this entry as I was finishing up my seventh piece. It has a peacock at the center of it. I am surprised with the choices of colours that I've picked. Its vibrant and bright and I really love it. I used a lot of dabbing technique for this one and can't wait to finish up this piece. All the painting makes me feel that I need to recharge and take a break for awhile from my paintings.
Well, I have to say, after hectic two weeks of loads of stuff done, I think it should be just the right time to treat myself a vacation. So, my friends and I, we are planning to go to one of the beaches in the mid-southern part of the country. They were there since yesterday but I have to come a bit later as I have some commitment to take care of. There, we plan to do a lot of stuffs like BBQ-ing, walking by the beach, horseback riding (or ponyback riding for some) and some shopping to do in jonker street market. And I bet that would be extremely interesting and I am looking forward to it.
So yup, I have to go back to adding on more tiny details to my painting before I shoot off to the beach. I see you soon people. And wish me a safe journey to and back from the beach!

The Excitement!
So, what I did was, arranged my paintings leaning against the wall and looked at them. Hell, I am excited as hell by just looking at them. And I might be able to finish up a few more before my friend comes and snap photos of all of them.
I have this thing going on in my head about making everything I painted full with details - which sometimes scares me too!!
I am going to add more details to my drawings and paintings and I hope I will have your attention once I am done with them all! I think thats it. Gotta beat the time, now. Chop! Chop!

Animals
People behind me have been nothing but great. They support my hobby and the idea of commercializing them. They give me inputs and ideas of how to make the first baby project reaching out to as many people as possible. I have to admit, the ideas, when being rearranged, fine-tuned and with careful consideration becomes a plan. And to these people I have to show my appreciation for what they've done means a lot to me.
Appreciation can come in various forms. It can be in a manner of saying thank you, invite them over for dinner or even patting one's shoulder. I've been thinking, for the sixth piece, I want to dedicate it to them. Hence, for this piece, I would like to portray the animals that these people love. There will be six animals and they are: rabbit, snake, tortoise, fish, frog and giraffe.
I am excited as I started painting this piece and can't wait for the end product! I think this is where I stop for now. And to those people who are supportive(you know who you are), I can't never utter enough thank you from my sincerest heart.

All The Help I Can Get
Just came back from a meeting with a very special friend of mine. She nodded and smiled when I asked her to become part of my first baby project. I mean I am like totally blessed! I have great friends who are supportive enough and have faith in what I am doing. She will sign a cheque by the end of this month so that I can hype up my progress. I really owe her big time tonight when not only she said yes, but she's giving me more than what I asked for. All I have to do is to be patient and work up my skills so that when the money's in, I'll waste no time at all.
For this collection, ideas are rushing in and out of my brain like waterfall - You can never stop waterfall. So I try to remember as many as possible. For the previous ones, I have completed them and now I am working on the fifth and sixth painting. I thought the number "5" is enough for the initiation of me being here, but then it struck me, why limit myself? The more I produce, the wider variety there will be and people can relate to what they see and interpret and hopefully they like what they see. And I am more than happy to actually paint more.
Owh... Almost missed this bit out, I have a manager to sell my paintings soon. She is non-other than my sister, Anna. Very EXCITED! She's the best sales person you can ever think of. And for that, I love her even more, as a sister! Now, back to work, people.
Good Night,
Love

W.I.P. Work In Progress
I am like totally excited now. I've contacted my friend, a part time photographer, and I have been nothing but loves her work and hopefully this can be a good thing. She informed me that she will confirm her visit to my small hut to take photos of the paintings on Saturday - and hopefully, crossed fingers, she can come that day.
I've completed my third painting and right after posting this entry I will go straight to finish up the outlining. I am so freaking excited. I have a gazillion ideas about the next 2 or 3 paintings. As I type this words down, I am multitasking looking for reference for my paintings.
Not just that, a work in progress means that I have invited a few of my friends to put their art work on my page too. By doing this, there will be more art works rather than waiting for me to complete one art piece.
A work in progress is a work in progress. That means I have to go back to my research and reference gathering, rather than babbling too much here. Hear from me soon!

Initiation
For the first time in my life, I have the determination to start taking painting seriously. I might not be a professional yet, but I'll get there soon. As I started to pay more attention to my deeper artistic side, I have become more passionate in appreciating art as this help me view my surrounding as a beautiful art composition painted by the great hands of the god. Art is to be appreciated and so is your surrounding.
As a starter, I have come up with this rough idea about a set of paintings that will be a baby step into the world I have never imagined I would conjure. But today, here I am, blogging about it. The rough idea that I have in mind mixes the element of explosive with cheerful and eye catching colours, one that combines three basic elements of art: curves, dots and lines and the theme of Serabut (a Malay word that brings the meaning of messiness) that gives space to let the audience expand their thinking through the eyes and mind of mine. The rough idea was then being fine tune with the theme:

Serabut: Curves, Dots and Lines
I've produced two paintings so far and as I am a beginner in the field I opted for drawing block rather than canvas. I feel that I still need to learn a lot, be it in the form of experience gathered or through learning with the experts if I am given the chance. If god will it, in a few days time I'll be presenting my first small collection with the theme stated above.
